Kratom + Tobacco (Very long and descriptive!)

I weigh 107 lbs. (48.6 kg). I am nineteen years old, and decided to try a small dose of kratom by myself (no sitter or other people present). I was in my bedroom, which was very cool and comfortable. Nearly all of my experience was spent sitting in my computer chair. I also had a mix of both...

    Kratom

I agree with darkwolfunseen. Kratom has many uses, but if one chooses not to use it, that is their choice. Many people find it helps them with things like fibromyalgia, others simply want to study its chemical properties.

    Sarkozy, in his EU presidency

Nice. That's pretty messed up. But yeah, the entire system in France is generally corrupted.

    Flying Lotus

I love discovering new music through [AS] - that's how I heard about Flying Lotus, School of Seven Bells, Chain, The Reflecting Skin, and so many more.

    Kratom

Haha, you're absolutely right! I haven't heard that joke before, but it's good, I'm going to remember it.

    Kratom

I've heard the same thing, though I can't vouch for it from experience. Many have said that smoking kratom produces little to no effects unless you smoke an uncomfortable amount.

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

Thank all of you for all your replies!! It's great to hear from other users about commonly sold psychoactives. As always, more are welcome!! :)

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

I've never heard of it before, I'll definitely check it out! Thanks!

What would you tell your kids?

I meant that if the tobacco industry was regulated, as in, many of the harmful chemicals removed, (which would have to include some of the high levels of nicotine), then I doubt that the tobacco industry could sustain itself - or at least not as well as it has been.

What would you tell your kids?

This is unfortunately true. If only regulating the tobacco industry wouldn't inevitably lead it to destruction... I apologize for directing the thread off-topic.

What would you tell your kids?

I've seen part of the book, and I think it's wonderful. However, I would love to see someone write a similar book about tobacco, considering the oppressive, ridiculous restrictions that have been placed on cigarettes lately. Manipulative advertisements and exaggerated statistics from...

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

I have absolutely no clue how to make absinthe, haha. But I have heard some good things about wormwood.

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

I couldn't agree more, they're utterly pointless. All should not be blamed for one person being irresponsible while under the influence of psychoactives. It's like accusing humans in their entirety for one person's murderous behavior.

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

Thanks for all the info, it really helped! Unfortunately, marijuana is illegal in my country, and I'm not looking to do anything illegal, otherwise I definitely would try it. Blue lotus and kanna sound like a pretty good mix to me, I might give it a go after I finally get my hands on some...

    Recommendations for Psychoactive Plants.

So I know that I want to try kratom, but I've also considered other mild psychoactives such as kanna, kava kava, and blue lotus (or sacred lotus, blue lily). I wondered what some of you would recommend for someone who is fairly inexperienced with psychoactives and psychedelics, but bear in mind...

what shall I get high on this time

That was so amazingly uncalled for. Wow.

What would you tell your kids?

I want to have an open, honest relationship with my children (when I have them, I'm pretty young right now). If my child develops an interest in psychedelics or any psychoactive substances, I will give them resources to information of all kinds - medical, trip reports, history, etc. Then it will...

    Psychonautic meeting?

I would love to meet some of you guys, but I'm stuck right where I am, can't afford a car and can't find a job. It's going to be a while before I can make any trips anywhere. You folks are free to stop by Florida. Though I don't know why anyone would want to come to this awful state..

    Kratom

It is psychoactive - most of the reports I've read on Erowid, here on Psychonaut, and other places says that kratom creates a mild euphoric high, and most people compare it to opiates. I (still) haven't experienced kratom myself, but am hoping to try it soon - it's the first on my list of...

    Kratom

I don't know how reliable any of these sources are as I have not purchased from any of them before, but these are the online suppliers I found: Herbalfire.com - Live Kratom plant Shamanic Extracts - Seeds Bouncing Bear Botanicals - Live Plant Bouncing Bear seems to be out of stock right now...

    Kratom

I agree whole-heartedly. If one has pre-existing mental conditions (such as depression, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder), then common sense dictates that you shouldn't take powerful hallucinogens or mood-altering substances. If everyone just used their brains a little more often, we wouldn't...
  22. B

    Kratom

Exactly. This thread will most likely contain mixed responses depending on where everyone lives, but in the US, you're absolutely right - anything that draws attention to a legal substance is absolutely negative, even if it's meant to be helpful. It's ridiculous how authorities think that...

That doesn't sound as complicated as I thought, I'll definitely look into it. :)

New to Psychonaut (obviously) - introduction.

I was actually reading about ayahuasca the other day (I read a lot), and I have to ask, is it difficult to make? I can't remember any of the ingredients at the moment, but I'd definitely be interested in trying it if I could be certain I won't screw it up, haha. :P

New to Psychonaut (obviously) - introduction.

I have no experience with psychedelics or entheogens....yet. One of the reasons I joined Psychonaut is because I've recently taken a huge interest in legal mind-altering plants and intend to try a few things soon (the first thing I'm going to try is kratom, which is obviously not a...

    Kratom

The girl from NeuroSoup (can't remember her name) does videos on Youtube about all kinds of legal entheogens and ethnobotanicals: Kratom Salvia Blue Lotus I actually don't agree with people making videos about these drugs for the reason you stated - these videos bring attention to the fact...

    Nice Concept

This was fantastic, I loved it. Really makes you think. I consider myself a deist, which entails the belief that there is a deity out there, but that it is a passive deity who intervenes little to none and thus has little impact on our lives and evolution. Because of this, I think I may have...

What would your gift to humanity be?

I seriously hope you become god one day....that is a beautiful idea, because the biggest thing this world lacks right now is understanding and empathy....we could all use more of it.

    Kratom

On Arena Ethnobotanicals they have 1 oz. (28 grams) of Crushed leaf Thai Kratom for only around $15, which (I think?) sounds pretty reasonable - that's what I'll be purchasing! And I definitely will let everyone know how it goes! :D Thanks for all the help, guys!
  30. B

    Kratom

I haven't tried it yet, simply because I'm literally flat broke at the moment, but I suppose I'll just try the tea method as well as smoking it - I've heard that the amount of kratom leaves needed for one dose exceeds what you can fit into a cigarette, so I'll probably roll a cig with kratom in...

    Kratom

I've been looking at Arena Ethnobotanicals a lot already, so if they're reliable, I think I'll start with them. And yep, haha, I have no intentions of making tea out of this stuff.....I read somewhere else that one good way to take the powder is to just swallow some of it and then wash it down...

    Kratom

I dug through the board pages and simply could not find a kratom thread that would answer my question (if it's out there, could someone link it?) Anyway, I'm very interested in trying kratom, but there are no "head shops" in my area where I would be able to buy it. Does anyone have any online...

Thanks, I'm excited to be here. :D Haven't tried anything yet aside from tobacco and alcohol, but I'm delving into the world of entheogens very soon!!

New to Psychonaut (obviously) - introduction.

Hello, I'm (obviously) new here and I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm more interested in entheogens and ethnobotanicals (stuff like kratom, kava kava, blue lotus) than psychedelics, but haven't found too many sites where people speak openly about legal drug use, and after some searching, I...
