Odd, it's my experience that vapor is MUCH stronger then smoke and can make you cough much harder then any smoke. At least with my Ceramic heat vaporizer, and yes I did it at the right temp, just enough to lightly brown the ground cannabis. It certainly matches the experience though, very strong.
