smoking/vaporizing weed with fungus?

so lets say a certain someone receive some weed as a present.. this person noticed that in some of the otherwise nice buds, there is some sort of fungus growing. .its some very fine white hairs, and in our fictional story, looking with a 60x microscope also the fungus looks like tangled up thin white hairs, quite much thiner than the glands of the weed..


what could this be, and how dangerous would it be smoking it? What about vaporizing in the volcano, would it make it safer?

Bud Rot is no Laughing matter can cause Pneumonia, Cut it off, Smoke it as soon as possible to avoid it getting worse, if you can afford to bin it or make oil out of it if you know what your doing. Vaping is a good idea as heat kills mould - I think a Joint is the worst as mould spores could travel thru the skin to your lungs unheated.

Put the rest of the bud in a well ventillated place and let it dry 100% check the rest for rot thoroughly. Any big buds take off thick stems or pull the buds back away from the stem to increase air flow around them, Removing them will make the buds dry quicker tho.

Tell your mate the weed he gave you has mould in it and tell him to make sure his weed is dry before put into bags and when bagged to check regularly to ensure any moisture in stems or centre of buds that has been released doesnt create humid conditions ideal for mould. Of course do this in a way not to make him feel silly as you said, The weed was a gift. Every one wants good weed

P.S. If he didnt grow it himself when bought, if damp you should air and dry as soon as you can. Every second its degrading, Losing Smell, Taste and getting ever closer to being mouldy.

but is every fungus dangerous? are there no 'ok' ones?

so if the person has been vaporizing with the volcano, hasnt smoked it even once, is it safe, also to continue vaporizing the parts that he sees its clean?

and then basically throw away the parts that are too infected?

Any fungus on Cannabis plant matter is a bad thing mate, Sorry to say mate but you will have to throw away the most infected ones and smoke the ones that are least infected first.

The valcano after use with the rotten bud should be turned to its highest temp to elliminate the chance of any spores
