How cool, my first Salvia plant, got my frist cubensis growkit last week.
It seems like I'm gonna get green thumbs

But I have a question. How often do you guys water your salvia plants?
And what fertiliser should I use?

I'm gonna take pictures of the growing sequence, so I'll keep ya'll updated ;)

i water my plants when the soil is really dry. which is about twice a week.. but mine are quite big and need more water than a new cutting of course.
i used some cannabis fertillizer that i got for free on the hempfair

Cool, thnx for the tip. The soil is pretty wet so that's ok, and 2 or 3 times a day I remove the glas and hold it under hot water and put it back on so the humidity stays high. So far so good, it seems that the humidity is high enough.
I was scared about the first 24 hours (in that time I couldn't check on it)
But it's ok, so I guess the cutting will be fine

I water my salvia plants daily.
both - the young ladies (second generation salvia plants) and their "old fat mother plant" ;-)
not sure if it is really necasairy to water them daily -- probably not -- but I've integrated "watering plants" in my daily wakeup ritual ;)

fertilizer: never used any.

the biggest challenge I have faced in growing salvia so far: mine are pest-magnets par excellence :-(
Already had several heavy attacks of white fly, spider mites, and thrips.
Rather difficult to control (without chemical pesticides) :(

Good luck and may the salvia pests stay far away from your plants :)
