I have noticed some major players, Nestle for 1 and Mars another.

They own all sorts, From sweets to dog food and are very hard to avoid.

google saves everything. they save the porn you were searching, the song you were looking for, EVERYTHING you ever typed is in their database. I don't like that. And now google makes a new (internet) explorer ! so every homepage you will go to, will be on googles database too.
And now google is making its own OS.
so basically, google has control over the whole virtual live.
that may sound paranoid but every single data in the hand of one firm, is a bit worrying for me.

On the other hand, everyone loves google. It is these two good ol' chaps, havin a good idea and selling it good. Nothing evil!!

I never really started on this path because I feel you should be consequent in every action involving any kind of company ever. And I can't be bothered doing that, even though it means supporting companies that I would rather not support. I won't be enslaved by always having to make the "right" choice.

The best thing to do is to buy less, to buy from a local market that sells fruits, vegetables, cheese and eggs. Avoid junk food and unnecessary gadgets as much as we can.

For the rest of the necessary products, whatever the brand, it's the same. Because even the most so-called ethic shops are led by sneaky and dishonest bastards.

People that try to sell fair trade products and/or organic food. Not all of them. But many are sneaky bastards, they don't give a fuck about the planet, because they're importing their organic food from the other side of the globe, there they use tremendous amounts of kerosene and petrol. Obviously, all these transportations are not earth friendly at all. It's hypocrite. All they want is to sell, they don't give a fuck about whethet their products are earth friendly or not.
