.....is quite simple;

In the past, countries could be formed by like minded individuals who were willing to go into the edges of frontier territory and endure the hardships necessary to make it happen.....by simply declaring their desire to do so.

You cannot do that now, every piece of land on earth is 'owned' by some government who will takes steps to end it if they percieve an actual threat (meaning if it really looks imminent)....

the supposed history of the USA features 'patriots' rebelling against the Brits, and battling to their independence....I don't think that is possible now, if you express the desire to speak out against the powers that be, you'd better be prepared for the worst, look around, people are getting the shit beat out of them for standing on the street watching other people protest. Everyone is either dumbed down to the point of retardation or simply afraid.

Orwells vision of 1984 is tame compared to our reality now.

There is nowhere to go, if any change is ever going to happen, don't delude yourselves, its an uphill battle that I do not think people are willing to engage the enemy in.

Who actually is the 'enemy' anyway ?

It isnt the established governments....they do what they are told.

who tells them what to do?

well, we dont exactly know, see they HIDE like cowards and pull the puppet strings from protected shadows.

But we know enough, and the stark, cold reality is this:

We will never be free until we are willing to create our own culture, free of the diabolical influences of the established order.

I hate to advocate the obvious, but it may be time to return to the days of secrecy and long term planning....thats the reason why we have a shadow government today; they realized long ago that you cannot put your agenda out for everyone to see and criticize, there are simply too many ways for momentum to be sabotaged.

But if you take this tack, our ultra-paranoid (with good cause) 'rulers' will do everything in their considerable power to infiltrate. If they cannot infiltrate then they will propagandize and disinform from a distance. If that doesn't work, then they will just destroy you physically.

Even if inter-planetary travel were possible the VERY FIRST people there will be reps of industry and established governments.

The cure has to come from within, and I dont think anyone has the desire to go through what will have to be done.

Can everyone not see that the existing paradigm cannot provide a solution?

Ideas?

I have one for starters; Established industry should not have ANY power whatsoever....you cannot give men who worship machines power over other men and expect a community of love and respect to grow....quite the opposite.

Let's look to a quote from Thomas Jefferson, that old weedhead:

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered ”.

make no mistakes in your thinking;

Banks worship machines

machines run on oil or electricity which is derived from oil.....

another Jefferson quote;

"Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition"

dependence comes from relying on 'them' to provide lights and food and a 'job' to purchase both...by this time, we should all understand that it is NOT that we cannot produce everything we actually need ourselves, but that we are conditioned to accept the things that they say we can/ should have....all those things are made in factories and corporate endeavors.

independence come from returning to the land, it is very very simple.

and....
"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."

Jefferson knows this because he was a student of history. And that is NOT the history you and I are taught in school....he studied (like any TRUE student of history) the cyclical nature of our behaivour, what we do again, and again, in certain situations.

Do you really think there is much to be learned the way it is taught in schools and colleges?

Fuck no, they cannot teach you a damn thing by making you remember dates and peoples names, which is what 90+% of history in educational institutions consist of....they make it dry and boring as hell for a reason....and that reason is to get young, curious minds as far the hell away from that subject as possible.

History, in general, only informs us of what bad government is.

Thomas Jefferson

Basically we were mentally moved from sustenance from the land to sustenance from their machines with the advent of the industrial revolution.....the facts show that Dupont in the early 20th century helped demonize hemp so that they could produce synthetic fibers and other products that were inferior to hemp. (and made out of OIL)

Today Dupont is running fucking apeshit-wild on the world, ith their GMO garbage, and NOBODY has the guts or any idea, at ALL on how to stop them.

Henry Ford made the first car, the Model A, out of hemp-derived plastic (did you know that?) and ran the engine on methanol fuel that was also made from hemp

People, it is vital to understand that the point was to remove us from the land, not physically, but MENTALLY.

which is what they did.....

The problem is within US, in our MINDS, and we are the only ones that can fix it.....waiting on the established order to provide solutions is bad, bad mojo.

I agree completely with the logic Spice, but there's another layer to it. If a person strives for change, pushes themselves to a point where they can make that change (on the way sacrificing other ideals), and realizes that they've achieved presence in the world of power, 9 times out of 10 they'll just sit back and take the position.

To truly be successful in that journey, it almost seems like you need to build in some sort of fail-safe, some sort of mechanism that triggers events where you know that if you don't use the power you've earned for your end goal that you set when you started, that mechanism will force you to resign it.

It is theoretical, but I think that's why so many notable noble people eventually become "corrupt", not because of the system itself, but because of the way they perceive their options once they've conquered a portion of it.

thats what I mean about there being no way to work real change from within- power corrupts people who 'play the game'
(another way of saying it is that the type of behaivour which made the problem cannot solve it)

there needs to be another playing field, another game....I am beginning to believe that there is no solution as long as we insist on living together in large clumps.....

psychedelic awareness is the check mechanism, but that wont work in a world where that type of awareness has been demonized, and the demonization was another way we were removed from the land (and another reason we were)

A persons conscience is part of the fail-safe mechanism, and we do not, collectively, as in 'western culture', have a conscience, because the example is continually being set for us by our 'leaders' that we dont need a conscience, what we need is plasma TV.

Being attached to the land provides a certain 'wholesomeness' which cannot be supplied by mechanical culture.

It makes you care more, and the converse I believe to be true; cities make you care less

The only thing I have been able to come up with is become a teacher, influence the youth.

For lack of destructive tendencies (just like everyone else :? )

i believe most of what you say is true... maybe people are being led to believe that they don't have a choice, basically... that they have to subscribe to the retarded paradigms and worldviews of others...
which means people are being misled a lot... but in truth they always have a choice etc etc!!!!!... something like that...
but well maybe we need people that lead by negative example also... examples for how we don't want to become like ourselves...
we just have to stop swallowing their "bad" pills or so... we can come up with our own ways of how we view the world... we
don't need anyone to tell us how to view the world, basically. at least not how a lot of people are trying to do it.
i mean yeah together it's always nicer but we have to treat each other right and be nice to each other....
in the end we are all the same life...

in some weird sense it sometimes seems even as if it's also only a rich vs poor war... interesting to note that from a certain perspective supposedly both wealth and poverty are considered to be personal illusions.

so maybe what we need more is "disattachment". 8)

peace
