One of the best ways to broaden your horizon is by learning new things. I am always on the look out for new information and new practical videos about interesting subjects. A few of my favourites (most are available on torrents):
Anything by TTC. They have university level video courses on a wide variety of subjects, from philosophy to religion to economics to biology and physics.
I really like a lot of the BBC documentary series, like Earth Story or historical documentaries on art, war, science.
Another great series is Krishnamurti on PBS. It is from 1974 and has 18 one hour episodes in which almost everything is discussed. It has taught me a lot (I used to dub some ambient under it and space out on the wisdom, just like I did with most of the available recordings of Alan Watts ) and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in spirituality.
