Scullcap also known as scutellaria, or the other way around?

Scullcap....anyone know what it does to the brain? or is it just an MS remedy used by someone i know? cause i've seen it in a lot of experience vaults on Erowid but it's allways a mixture......

I read somewhere that it is a sleep remedie. will look it up

realxing herb, not a real insomnia remedie but it makes valling in sleep easier, smoke about 3 bowls or make a tea of a hand full of fresh leafs and mixing it with calea and valerian for a better sleep help.

scullcap is a tranquillizer, all species of scullcap are psychoactive. dwarf scullcap is the most potent.
i've used downy and maddog scullcap in many smoking mixtures, mainly b/c it grows along the river here, in high doses it will put you down, still alert but definitely tranquil. the taste is awfull if made into a tea, almost like wormwood tea, maddog scullcap has a plastic taste when smoked.
i mix scullcap with salvia or wormwood, pedicularis densiflora, blue lily.
it's best in capsules those.
