Salvia Divinorum Illegal In US?

I have been reading horrable news online that the USA is going to soon become the next to outlaw this wonderful drug you may remember i made a post not to long ago about if i should get it or not well my friend did (not from Azarius sorry,i tryed to make him) and it was the most thrilling thing i have ever done and now seeing that it will be outlawed soon is an outrage! I personaly dont realy no how otherwise i would have dont it already but i think someone should start a pition (sorry my spelling is bad) spred the word of it have as many people sign it as possable and send it in. if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated or even better if someone can tell me that its definately NOT going to be outlawed that would be better but i dont think that is going to happen. :-(
