Reduce tincture burn without diluting?

hi, is there anything out there you can mix with a salvia tincture that does not dilute it [too much], that could deal with the burn from the alcohol part? i've seen the honey slurry method with extract, has anyone substituted extract for tincture (in honey slurry, or an elixir)?

does high proof alcohol, like rum etc, dilute it less than water?

Anyone got any answers or suggestions to this one? I made some tincture that tastes really foul and burns the tongue, which is no way to start a voyage. It would be a waste to throw out such powerful stuff.

High proof alcohol would not dilute it any more or less than the same quantity of water. However, alcohol would clean the tongue to aid absorption.
