Piracetam/Nootropics with Trips?

Has anyone tried taking the nootropic Piracetam with any hallucinogens or with MDMA/X?

I'm taking Piracetam already but I haven't tried to stack it with anything past caffiene, and choline. Piracetam, for those who may not know about it, stimulates your mind and is a GABA receptor. It was first synthesized in the 1970's and there's a few medical/clinical documents showing the proven benefits of it. I can tell it does what it says, but I'm curious if anyone has already tried tripping on it. I haven't been able to find anything to test with it currently, as I just moved to Houston and don't know that many people here yet.

dont do it. i once too piracetam with ritalin and had a headache that lasted all day.

don't mix piracetam with anything other than studied nootropics.

I'm not asking about stacking it with a ADHD/ADD prescript pharmi, I'm asking if anyone has tried stacking it with something like LSD, MDMA, DMT, and XTC. I've taken piracetam before smoking herb, and it gave me a nicer head high (I smoke almost only sativa strains, unless I'm tired from work in which case I always head for my indica) and I never got a head ache.

Maybe you got a headache because you were stacking two mind stimulants or boosters together? I mean I stack Piracetam with choline but it isn't the same as ritalin or adderall. :S

I'm guessing no one's tried or considered this, I'm still trying to find some cid vicious to help me with my experiment because I believe it'll make a nicer headier/thought based trip...

Well, THC is not an alkaloid and acts very different than the stimulant methylphenidate (ritalin).

Psychoactives such as LSD, psilocybin and MDMA have similar properties to ritalin and thus I would warn against the mixing. The headache is not fun, but the possible "damage" it is doing (don't quote me that it does damage) would make me steer clear from the combo.

I took it with oxiracetam, and acetyl choline as well as fruit juice with little side-effects.

Ah I see, and yea that's very true I hadn't thought to look into things like that.

What "damage" do you think it could potentially do? Hmm, an oxiracetam, I've done a little research on it and found it had some side effects that come along with taking it (Hence me continuing my usage of Piracetam versus using a stronger form of racetam). Those being insomnia, anxiety, and upsetting ones stomach. So I tend to stay away from it, and the other stronger racetam's that have been shown to cause negative side effects.

Well I',m not a neurologist, which is why I put damage in quotations.

I don't think you're going to end up with brain damage if you take the two together, but nootropics increase blood pressure and blood circulation in the brain. This, compounded by LSD and psilocybin's blood pressure and cardiovascular effects may be something to avoid. The simple fact of a headache is all I'm basing this on. I don't know why I got the headache - i.e. what was really going on to give me a headache, but I'd rather avoid headaches, especially when tripping.
