I have seen some of the other films from the director, (Pi and requiem for a dream), wich were good if i remember correct. I read the reviews on imdb and it sounds like an interesting movie!

Well I'm glad I could get this movie a bit more attention as it did pretty bad in the box offices. It's sad cause it's such a great movie.

BTW, I'll be checking out Pan's Labyrinth tonight... also a really wicked movie so it seems can't wait to see it 8)

also other movies i've seen in the last few month i liked are "the Prestige" and "The Illusionist" but they are more entertainment than anything

The prestige is a really cool movie aswell
I just didn't really get the end of the movie, so i'm gonna watch it again sometime
but I won't tell anything about it yet cause that would be a shame for the people who still wanna see it

"Pan's labyrinth" is one of last year's best movie (if you liked it : try "the Devil's Backbone" from the same director guillermo del toro)

"The fountain" was, for me, a big disapointment (i expected a lot from the director of "pi" and "requiem for a dream") : unfortunately that movie is a total disaster, badly done, poorly acted, with a very naïve new age philosophy worth of supermarket.

Judging by what you wrote, I fear that I'll have the same disapointement than with "The Secret"...

Do you think that it's still worth seeing for its images ? Judging by the few pics I saw, it looks like a very nice eye candy...
