LSA and grapefruit juice

AFOAF was wondering if drinking grapefruit juice before one consumes LSA containing seeds will help?
They understand how GF Juice effects other compounds in the body and was just wondering it it had the same effect on LSA compounds.

grapefruit juice helps to inhibit certain enzymes in the liver that metabolize certain substances and in effect they stay in the system longer, and maybe even effect you stronger...i was wondering if LSA was one of those substances!

wow I didn't know that. I am eating grapefruit daily myself... well from the wikipedia article, there is nothing about LSA or LSD... so probably not.

SWIM is trying it out as we speak, with about 6gm. of MG seeds washed, and naphtha-fied&dried...lets hope it works!! a

Drugs that may be affected include oxycodone, midazolam, ciclosporin, lovastatin, methadone, dextromethorphan, simvastatin, pravastatin, felodipine, sildenafil (Viagra) and caffeine, as well as a number of antihistamines including astemizole and terfenadine.

No mention of substances even remotely alike LSA, so I guess it wouldn't help, but there might be a placebo effect. :wink:
