Legality of San Pedro and Peruvian Torch in NZ

Hi, I checked Erowid and searched this forum before posting this...does anyone know the legality of these cacti in NZ?

Hey there mezzanine, I registered just to answer you! :D

To answer your question, San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi) is legalto own and grow in NZ as long as it is for ornamental purposes. If you are growing it for its mescaline, that would make it illegal.

I'm not completely sure about Peruvian Torch (Trichocereus peruvianus) but I am pretty sure it is the same as San Pedro.

Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) is a prohibited plant in NZ and it is illegal to cultivate.
