In fact, there's no difference between any Solanaceae plant apart from the potency in alkaloids and variation.
The 'safest' way is to smoke dried leaves from the brugmansia/datura flowers from the outer side of the tree/plant. Seeds are also smokable when crushed.
The most riskful ingestion is to eat the red fruits in the center from the belladonna. Which should be avoided, even if you're a shaman. Chances of comitting suicide is common with this method.
Smoking it is however, much 'lighter' than oral ingestion. Feeling like you're in a dream, no gravity, and all the good and evil of yourself is splitted and goes it's own path.
There's a wonderful side in their family which may be only witnessed by a very few of the users. If the 3 don't like you, they make your life and existance a burning hell.
You might have a chance to enter the gate to the wonderful garden, once you've stepped over the line, the gate will close behind your back. Demons, gnomes and what not may occur in this garden when you're stepping further. You might be able to sneak back when the gate hasn't fully closed yet.
Be extremly careful, you don't have an idea yourself or the plant is on set or not, this magical and yet powerful effect of the drug, makes it extremly hard to stay tied with even a little bit of reality.
You might feel as you're turning blind in the beginning. Somewhat umpleasant and capivated with black magic as it has been described in fairytales with witches.
As for the serious physical risks and mental disorientation/mindfuck, go to Erowid, which I assume you've read extensively from A to Z already. If not, don't ingest Jimson Weed!
And HAVE A SITTER who knows what Solanaceae plants are! It needs to be someone who can tell a medical emergency team about the alkaloids. Someone who's willing and knows how when to give you a shower if you don't want it. Forcing you to drink. And someone who needs to be prepared to stay awake for 24 hours if neccesary.
These are just a few rules.
