growing khat (qat)

Does anybody know how to grow qat? I got a cutling (do you write it that way?) last week and I hear different things about it. Some say that it has to be in water for a few months, others say that I have to put it in dry soil. Anybody got experince with it?

Ok I will give my own answer here, it might be helpfull for other people who want to grow qat. I tried it in dry soil but after a week the leaves started to hang so that did not work. Then I put it in water and now it looks strong and healthy. My friend is definately right, it will take a long time before it starts to root, but that's no problem for me. :smirk:
