I'm growing 9 Cannabis plants (1 died) but I have this really annoying problem.
6 of them are a bit yellow and still very short, like 10 cm, while the biggest is 25 cm and dark, healty green.
How can I make the smaller yellow plants grow faster and become more healty?
I heard by not giving them any water or food for a couple of days will trigger them.
They are growing for 1/5 week now.
So, is there anyone with experience that can help me out?

Thanks... :)

What kind of light you use ?
Or can be a probem of nutrion ? do you use grow nutrients ?
i think stop to giving them water is not the solution .

I use a 400 watt lamp and use only Rhizotonic (root stymulator) in the beginning, after 2 weeks I stop using the root stymulator and start using Canna grow nutrients...

They look pretty yellow, so I might have just over-watered them, dunno ...

Is possible , the symptoms of a water excess are: a slowed down growth, leaves become yellow and fall , roots become yellow and a typical odor of a plant in decomposition .
Iron and Azote are also very important for the production of chlorophyl ,

Yea, I'm pretty shure it is over-watering, I gave them 250ml instead of 150ml wich is way too much, but this is really starting to get on my nerves :\
One is over 25 cm with lots of big leafs and then you have the smallest wich is only 10 f*cking cm and has like only 5 small leafs. And I have 5 others with the same problem, they refuse to continue growing...

Is it possible that they quit growing?
They are'nt dying, the leafs are'nt hanging but they don't make any f*cking progress.

Is there a cure maybe?
Or is patience the cure...

Hello DaZed :)

Your plants are young i think you dont need to give them to mutch of everyting exept Light , More then 13 hours of light 24 hours is even beter .
Keep the ground humid but not to mutch , if you dont want to drown them .
And exept Co2 tabs they dont need mutch nutricion , they have enough whit the nutricion in the ground because they are way to young or small . dont puch them to go to fast they dont have mutch spare at thit point .
The Co2 tabs you give them only once a week . this wil defenitly help them grow .

Keep it up , Soulflower 8)

yup , patience is the cure , you just need to wait and leave the ground to dry

:D
Thanks, I'll try to follow both of your advices. :)
They are growing for exactly 2 weeks now and it's still the same more or less,
1 is 35(!!) cm allready while the smallest is still 10 cm, it's sooo frustrating to see 3 plants make good progress and 6 making really small moves...

I did water them a little with some grow nutrient ... I thought that would help ... It didn't.

Ok, but giving them 24 hours of light?
They grow in the dark actually, so I don't know if that'll help ...

no they don't grow in the dark (well maybe they do) but they need as much light as possible during vegetation. For flowering it's another thing...

maybe the difference in size is just a matter of strain, some strains get big and some strains get small....if it's all the same then I hope you get it better :o)

did you think about your growing medium ?
do your plant have enough room for their roots ? does it drain well?

Heya ,

yup 24 hours off light , its like this in holand how they manege to harvest every 3 months .
Anyway here is a link you should find every info you need to become a profesional grower  www.4marijuanaseeds.nl/articles.htm
I wish you a good lecture

:)
I'm trying to harvest within 12 weeks actually, so that means 3 weeks growing and 9 weeks flowering, then I'll harvest them.(I give them 18 hours of light and 6 hours of complete darkness)

Also after 4 weeks I cut off all the branches below about half of the plant, this will spare me alot of cutting work on the tops, cause the little tops you normaly would have will be gone and the food will go to the upper tops, wich will allow them to grow bigger.(It has no effect on the quantity of the harvest)

The jars I use are 10L jars...

But I can see them make a little progress actually, the leafs are getting greener and slowly they get bigger, but allmost un-noticable. :)

does your growing medium drain water correctly ?

Yup, all fixed now, I can see them grow everyday now... :)

Just overwatered them, gave them some rest, no water that means, and slowly build up on water and grow nutrients after some dry period.

Still I have a difference between the shortest and the biggest of 25 cm.
So their is one of 15 cm and one of 40 cm, but I learned a lesson for next time. :)

Good to hear you solved it!

Different length can be a problem but doens have to. I just harvested my indoor grow a month ago. Seven plants, one was 120 cm, one was 60 cm, the rest inbetween. Just make sure your larger plants dont burn. You could also gently bend the larger plant and tie it up so it doesnt touch the light.

Here we use 18 hours of ligh during vegetation and 12 hours for flowering .
The flowers need dark to grow and breath, so if you want harvest in 3 months you need to need to put them 12 hours in dark ,
And is better 18 hours of light than 24 h during the vegetation , the plants need to breath , and you still can harvest in 3 months
