Im planning to extract mescaline from Peyote, but I read that the Peyote needs to be 15-20yrs old to be consumed.
Question: Is this because the plant can only take the stress of being cut and survive it at this age or is it because thats when the plants psycho-active ingredients are most potent at this age?
