About six weeks ago I did an extraction, messed up which involved a lot of extra cleaning rounds and eventually left my main extract with a small layer of naptha, in one of my growing cupboard. This morning I took it out and was amazed by what I saw and had to post some pictures and check the crystal formations.

Actually I did three naptha pulls on that and then forgot about it. It is seperated but I failed to do a defat round (again, stonedness...) with this extraction so a lot of fats/tannins ended up in the extract. The crusty layer you see, are probably most of those impurities that have formed a third layer between the extract and the naptha. It has been standing untouched for six weeks so it looks like some of the naptha has evaped and crystals started to form.
I'm tempted to put it in a bigger glass vase and put a light below it and put it as art in my living room
Edit: I wonder how big those crystals will become if I let them grow and if I will be able to lift them out of the liquid somehow.

If the jar is opened, it is logical that crystals grows because the naphta is slowly evaporating. Therefore the concentration of DMT increase and crystal are growing.
If you put a light below, this will heat the liquid and crystal will dissolve

Yea you are right
The idea in itself attracted me but I wasnt going to realize it anyway. I rather process it again with some more naptha to try to get everything out.

Then...I'd put a little more warm naptha in, dissolve all the crystals, separate the naptha, precipitate in the freezer, pour through filter, dry......and smoke. I'd be scared that if I waited too long, all the naptha would evaporate and I'd just have crystals stuck in gummy, black, basic extract.
It looks very cool...but if you cherish it too much it might end up being wasted...which would be sad.
