DMT extraction from Chacruna

Hi everyone! My friend just received an order of psychotria viridis and he wants to extract the DMT from it in order to smoke it. After some research it seems that chacruna is only for making ayahuasca?

There must certainly be a technique to extract DMT from chacruna in a smokeable form... Can anyone help him?
