CIA under fire for destroying torture evidence

The Bush admin has done it again. The CIA is catching hell here in America because they destroyed tapes of suspects being tortured. The agency claims that this was done to ' protect the idententities of the agents involved'....

That's a crock of shit. They could have electronically altered the faces and voices, it's done all the time, if you're not some caveman out of touch with technology. Well, we are talking about these imbecelic neo-cons.

Has anyone noticed how the bush admin seems to use hispanics and blacks to do distasteful, and probably illegal things that a person less 'eager to advance' wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

I think the real reason that the tapes were destroyed had nothing to do with the stated reasons, but more to do with the TYPES of techniques used....I suspect you would see, were you able to watch, not only waterboarding, but fingernail pulling (they grow back with no scars) and some very curious IV administration of certain psychotropic chemicals, which, per Edgewood Arsenal, are classified.

yes I read something similar. in the article I read they said that the CIA destroyed the interrogation tapes of people who were accused of 9/11 or something...

If it was just suspects in 911, that would be one thing, but thanks to the efforts of the neocons, ala 'The Patriot Act'
and, 'Homeland Security' enactment, they have created secret prisons where ANY american can be, basically abducted and carted off, to be held in violation of all constitutional guarantees and rights, without ANY evidence.

They are monitoring library records NOW, via The Patriot ACT, and if they don't like the book you checked out last week, you may find yourself....vanishing.

Back in the worst times of the cold war between Russia and America, these were tales told of the dreaded 'communists';
'the KGB boogeymen would come for you at night'....

The Gestapo was created along the same lines of reasoning, and for the same weak justification of 'Security for the Fatherland'....

In 30 years of cold war experience, no way the CIA only came with "waterboarding" its there job to get info, no mather what.

I almost dont wanna know what was on those tapes, becouse it would probrably sickens me. They had a very good reason for destorying those tapes, and now they are just acting stupid..
