Canada's booming cannabis industry ranks alongside tourism and forestry as a money earner and employer but the illegal trade has angered its US neighbour.

Canada has a Marijuana Party, allows pot to be smoked in public and barely punishes people who are caught growing it.

Not entirely true, it tends to vary a lot from region to region. But in a couple of the major cities, especially in the downtown areas, people light up pretty much in the open and nobody seems to give a shit.

The nice thing is that with such a large demograph of weed smokers it is pretty hard for people to believe the gov't BS about marijuana.. when everyone at least knows a few weed smokers suddenly you realize what a pile of huey prohibition is

Anyway this will all change for the worse if Harpie has his way.. but last I heard he was calling for an election so maybe we can ship this guy off to china or some place, well any other place than parliament hill
