Ayahuasca help.

I saw how to make some brew, and I was thinking. It says you can boil it down until it turns into a shot, because it tastes bad, that might be better. But I was thinking, do you trip off of one sip? Even if it is a whole glass? And also is the ayahuasca root illegal in the U.S.?

it is not illegal to possess ayahuasca plants in the US until you begin preparing them for consumption without first becoming a member of Santo Daime or the U.D.V. (i am unclear on what additional role if any is played by "intent" so do not take this as expert legal advice.)

Well, I don't think people actually do that.. Lol but what would be your excuse if you were believed to have 'intent' to do something illegal? What excuse would you have? Does it smell good, to be used as inscents or something? Also, yeah I am going to do this in the future after I smoke it, because everyone was saying that I shouldn't even try the tea until after I smoke it first. And the crystal is easier to make anyways so I will smoke it first.
