Cute animals but the wool from them STINKS when its washed and the textiles made from it shrink very much . Says he sitting on what once was two blankets that are now the size of bath towels . The textiles also drop masses of hairs so the washing machine gets full of them .

Hehe I don't know what kind of alpaca wool you got god... but it looks like the quality was bad...
I wore an alpaca hat for more than 5 years and I washed it in the machines more than 5 times and it never shrunk. Gloves also... they never stunk... I think they actually smell pretty good, especially in the rain when they get more smelly.
Perhaps it's a special treatment they did to it, or you got ripped off with a polyester alpaca mix :?
