I seems to be the disease of the cops in about the whole world. They are frustrated and use their cop-status to harrass people. I had a couple of problems with cops too, and it was always for a fake reason.

Fat joint with some tobacco: very chill, very sleepy, understanting nothing & everything all at once. Normal joint with a little bit tobacco, my favorite: very chill, a bit sleepy, quite happy. Normal joint without tobacco: quite chill, very fast thinking, quite happy, I get a little stressy.

Like most answers, I'd say: eat before you smoke. You could still have some munchies, but not really hunger. Hunger when being stoned is irritating. Myself, I always have some butter-cookies with me. I really love those cookies and when I'm stoned I love them even more.
