no mushroom growth in the center
I have a growbox of p. cubensis in my room and it looks the same as yours. They are only growing in the sides, coming from the gaps that have formed between the cake and the plastic box. Many of them are squashed agains the plastic and couldn't even appear on the top. It's a sad thing to watch...
