On some website they sell: PHOSPHORUS STANDARD, 1 = 1 P If I understand correctly, this would be Red Phosphorus (PHOSPHORUS STANDARD) because that is the most commonly sold allotrope. Iodine is getting harder to obtain. Anyone know the easiest synth for KI to Iodine? I have tried H202 and HCL that didn't work. Now I have been dropping sulfuric acid slowly into a KI solution but I feel there must be a easier more effective way to do this. Bromine? Chlorine gas? any ideas?- shulginistheman
