Dried san pedro - preparation and dose?
Hi, Ordered 250g of dried san pedro from here: http://www.magicplants.co.uk/cacti.html I figured that nomatter how crappy the growing process was that had been used, 250g would be enough for a trip. new to san pedro
I ate a 30cm pedro from divine cactus a few months back (I wrote it up in this forum). I made a shake out of it (raw) with most of the waxy coating still attached, but removed spines and core, just added some juice. Drank the whole lot (a few pints), but hardly had any trip. I just removed the clear plastic like skin, not any green matter (the stuff below the skin). Lots of preparation methods said to do this as the skin has no mescaline and only causes nausea.- pinch_sins

I guess you were right about the dosages Goran, you think 2 next time will be enough for average or better trip? that should be about 400-450g of fresh cacti - will it be enough? I only got 2 left you see... Do you think it would be any less effective because I had it raw?- pinch_sins

Hey my 3 san pedro just arrived today!! Decided to go with them in the end as they were 10x cheaper than peyote :wink: They're all about 26cms, not very wide though, 1.9-2.2 inch at widest part (and narrow at the base/stem).
