Question about quid and tincture effects
I don't really find either unpleasant, I was just curious. I find it amazing you have never experienced the laughing! About 1 out of 3 of my trips are just laughing so hard I cant even breath. It can make you feel really fantastic afterwards.- zane

Question about quid and tincture effects
I have read some reports of these methods being a bit more pleasant than smoking. Two things I have noticed that seem to have been left out of these reports are the profuse sweating and uncontrollable laughter. I was wondering if anyone experienced these effects with quid or tincture?- zane

Yeah, i never said it was a good idea, just that is it possible. About 2.5mg of salvinorin in plain leaf, dissolve 250mg of crystals into a solvent and slowly drip onto a leaf and let dry. You would have a 100x leaf.... Personally I have no need for anything over 10x, but I could see some...- zane

I think that applies to home extraction methods. If done commercially, with proper equipment, it is possible to get pure (or close to pure) salvinorin crystals. If you have pure crystals you should be able to make any strength extract you want... although Im not sure how cost effective it would...- zane

I didnt mean very high heat, I was just thinking that a pressure cooker would be a good idea since alcohol has a low boiling point (~78C). That way you could bring the alcohol just above boiling (~80C) without loosing any to evaporation. Of course this should not be done on the on a gas burner...- zane

Has anyone tried to make a supersaturated solution for a tincture? I was thinking you could use jj's method of creating an everclear tincture, first powder the salvia leaves so you can fit even more in and put the whole thing in a pressure cooker.
