Hey guys, just got back from my second jungle adventure with Orlando Chujandama (https://thenewrisingsun.wordpress.com/2010/05/12/8/).
I posted up my story from this year and the last on my blog @ ayaadventure.wordpress.com
Please take a look and read through my experiences, then ask anything...
I don't think it's possible to avoid a bad trip. But it is possible to avoid going into psychedelic states while your set and setting are off.
Steer clear of trips whilst your mood isn't right, that's the best way to stay out of the deep end.
Direct democracy through the internet... there's only a small minority of really d-baggy people who want really d-baggy things. Most of us just want happy lives and are content to go through them without hurting others.
Seems like you need a break from going out of your mind. After my last Ayahuasca experience I won't be returning to the jungle (except under some limited conditions), so I've been there with the "enough is enough" mindset.
Take a break and pull it together. You'll recover.
The good thing about psychedelics is you reach a natural stopping point. Eventually enough becomes enough and you just want to stay in this world for awhile.
Never tried the tank, but I can reach similar psychedelic experiences through meditation. Since the goal of meditation is to cultivate that state throughout the trials of regular life, doing it in a sensory deprived environment seems counterproductive.
