We'll, I guess it doesn't potentiate anything, but extracts active substances for the shrooms, so it's more easy for your body to digest it, to land in the bloodstream, so it will hit you harder.. something like that... But hey, I'm not a chemist, what the hell do I know :grin:

We'll, can't really judge the first and third story, you're probably right these aren't the best combinations, but you won't die from baileys and tonic. People are saying it, but it isn't true. It's true the crunchy white stuff appears and I wouldn't suggest drinking it, but you won't die...

Well, Erowid mentiones something about raised bloodpressure, higher heartbeat and the worst headache of your life.. Probably among other nasty side effects? Pretty much not a good time.. But never happend to me, maybe there's someone who experienced this particular headache? :iconhead:
