Do not place this Peyote in the sun for the next two weeks. When the soil is dried out give the Peyote water, let the excess of water flow away. Place your Peyote after two weeks in the sun. Turn the site which is not burnt towards the sun. Be carefull with the sun for this Peyote till the autumn.

Too much fertilizer and water can a Peyote tear open vertically. This has nothing to do with dark spots.

Which research ? Research by Poisson (1960) showed 93,5 % water by weight, and 95% water by other researchers. Both in the San Pedro Cactus (Trichocereus pachanoi = Echinopsis pachanoi).

High nitrogen will produce long but weak cacti with a lot of water in it. Hopefully it will not freeze there !

Can you show a picture of these Trichocereus bridgesii cuttings ? In the Netherlands there is only one webshop where you can buy long Achuma Cacti (Trichocereus bridgesii). A few webshops have them from 6-8 centimeter, and these cuttings they buy from that webshop. Or ..... they have a fake...

Can you show a picture of the not so good looking cuttings ? In the EU you can sent online bought products back within 8 working-days.
