Is this cactus ready?
That cactus looks nice not bad for 2 years work. Swim hears 30cm is enough for one person. The spots at the top may be due to a bit too much water. the bit at the bottom may be just corking that's normal, it maybe mites, keep an eye and see if it spreads. How often is the cactus watered? San Pedro: rooting a cutting
Best time of year to make a cutting? Hehe anytime u feel life it! In summer it'll heal up and root quicker. Sunlight is great for rooting. Cactus soil is quick drying and loose, cacti just prefer it. Try 2 parts soil (peat free), 3 parts coarse river sand and 1 part fine gravel (1-3mm).- Dutchdivinecacti
