DXM is just in OTC cough medicines. Isolating it is preferable (simple acid/base extraction), but you can also just take the cough medicine without isolating. Tablets are easier. Avoid anything with chlorpheniramine or acetaminophen in it, as these are dangerous in high doses. Guafinesin...- Apollo
