So im sure some of you have read my rants on the human brain being capeable of much more than we percieve. well i have some more shit to throw at you.

lately ive been visualizing things in myhead like a split second before they happen. im not "seeing into the future" or any shit like that. but little things.

i was thinking about my dad getting home from work and calling me for his daily update because i felt it was comming soon. and he called.

i was watching a spider attack a ladybug in the backyard, and i wounered if i interviened,if they would go their seperate ways. i looked up for a second and just kinda caught visulization of my ashes(from my cig) falling on them, so i thought: "hmm, i should move my cig.." well when i looked at the tip of the cig, the ashes had allreay fallen.. on them.

and i mean just other littleshit like that. just feeling an IM comming and looking at the computer for it right as it shows up.

you get the idea. so i told my dad about this, and he told me he had the exact same thing as a small child, and it would always freak out his parents. apprently he would predict phonecalls and who they were from seconds b4 hand, crazyshit like that. but he said it stopped after afew months.

he credits i to just pure coinsidence and luck. but i think theres a much greater power at work here. i can recall somewhat psychedelic experinces that i wouldnt have a clue how to explain in words from my child hood, and they would happen often. but then it just sorta slowed and stopped. and its now onlya faded memory in the back of my mind. but now that ive had this change since this last mushroom trip, and the little david blane act starts happening.

I don't believe you can predict anything from nothing...

What you are seeing, or visioning is the ability for your subconscious to process information - vast amounts very quickly. This is probably the sign of you being bery, very aware of your surroundings - possibly from psychoactives.

I can often tell what people are going to ask or say before they say it. The simple arm movement tells me their entire conversation.

I was once standing at the subwaystation waiting for the train and wondering whether I should listen to music or not, when I suddenly got the peculiar feeling that I'm going to meet someone and thus put the mp3-player back into my bag. it was in the very part of the train that I got into that I met my mothers cousin.

describing these things as synchronicities rather than predictions might give another perspective to this. whatever it "was", it did entertain me

on Sunday and Monday last i spent the entire day's thinking about my father who i had not seen for 10 years. im my mind i was going over and over the last conversation i had with him. when i arrived home on monday night my mother had put a note through the door telling me my father was in intensive care at the hospital. he dies on tuesday afternoon. at least i got to say good bye to him before he died

it's the sane thing. your subconscious can make predictions based off of what happened in day....maybe that prediction would be in the form of a dream. then your conscious forgets that dream but the more shallow subconscious remembers it and when you are in the situation a part of you knows whatcl is going to happen

think about mind (aka 'soul') it's just the specific psychological makeup you have and it exists in your head because that us what gave birth to it
if someone knows you they have a little bit of your psychological makeup in their head. esp when you're on their conscious mind

So a person I knew had his house raided by the FBI on friday.

This won't seem important to most of you, but the coincidence is this;

I sit in class with a teacher I have speaking about anarchy to for the last 4 or 5 months. A man gets raided by the FBI, and my teacher hears about it and explains to the class. The lecture for the day's class is about anarchy and anarchist towns and areas in the world. After class I go visit the place that was raided, and I see my friend, he explains it was his house and he has lost all his belongings. My anger has "popped" something, and about the only thing I can do is stare at the horizon as two FBI agents walk past me carrying my friend's belongings.

I ride my bike to work. I'm so angry I cannot show emotion any longer. I get off my bike and pace. I see a shiny thing in the ground, it is a quarter. It has my birthdate on it.

That quarter, the symbolism of america, with George's face half tilted on it, the symbol of money and power. Wealth and prosperity, with my birthdate on it, sitting in the ground after my friend's house has been destroyed by the governmental investigation agency. I pick it up and strongly analyze my need to put this quarter in my pocket. I can't believe my friend's condition. I can't believe that somehow this quarter is tied to his situation, this symbolism is too large.

i believe we construct a model of the other person in our heads, a little like running a virtual machine on a computer. the more we interact with the other person the more refined the model becomes.
i have no idea how this effects synchronicity

i have toyed with the idea there is a macro equivalent of quantum entanglement between individuals who have spent time together, but ive only ever believed that while near the peak of a trip. it usually makes sense at the time :wink:

we are all the same "awareness" with different prejudices
we dont see directly with our eyes. our minds create a second "subjective" world in our heads that we perceive.
everyone builds their own subjective universe and judging by the similarity we all have, the fact that we have an ego, a body, but we ARE an awareness its easy to understand how we can build opinions of people and events based on minute details.
after all you are just a part of me. in my subjective universe at least.

Hello all!

Did you ever find out what the reason was for the raid, IJesusChrist? Just curious to know the circumstances surrounding the situation, if not too private, that is.

He was an anti-war activist, and during a rebellion on the GOP in my city, he came out with bruises from police - but he apparently had never been violent, only protesting - so he got the medias attention with police brutality.

He was part of a group that wanted socialistic ideals for the country and had meetings about movements and protests.

He was an educated man and travelled the world talking to people who had ideologies on how to change the US for his favor. Unfortunately anyone travelling to the middle east for political reasons is seen as a potential terrorist.

The FBI said he was funneling money to terrorist organizations, so they tried to get documentation from his house to prove it. Of course they didn't find anything because he is a peaceful protester... I would like to know where he is now though.
