Psilocybin extraction

Does anybody know if good old fashioned Ukraine wodka is suitable for extracting psilocybin? Just want to give this a try to avoid my girlfriends nausea...

Answering my own question....

Yes wodka should work, as should whiskey.

I'm having an ounce of dried shroom material around that is about a year old. Will start an extraction procedure this weekend and update this thread with pictures and a log.

Faster to ingest because you don't need to digest the plant matter.
More accurate dosing, because you're actually measuring the active chemical, not just something containing the active chemical.

I'm up for a heavy trip, plus you don't get the other toxins from the mushroom in your body.

But that can also be easily accomplished with tea. The real benefit, at least to me and my girlfriend who has a very sensible stomach, is that people claim there is absolutely no stomach upset or nausea involved.

The real benefit would indeed be exact dosing. You can put the psilocybin in capsules, and then dose most exactly every time you take them.
