Can you FEELS the processes running in your brain?

Can you feel the processes running in your brain? I felt my willpower engage the other day and it was a startling experience. I could literally feel the location in my brain that was struggling to convince itself to act. Yesterday, I was doing some completely unrelated research when I was pointed to areas 24 and 32 of the ventral anterior cingulate cortex. I found that area 24 was said to be the seat of will power in the human brain. It's located exactly where I felt my willpower struggling and engaging.

Is this possible? I thought the brain wasn't capable of feeling? Or, is this like Spidey Senses?

I would not ask if it is possible to feel processes running in your brain.
The question i would ask myself would be: Who is this I that is feeling this process?
